Southern Peach Wedding Inspiration | Hillcrest Farms | Elberta, AL

Any wedding vendor loves a good styled shoot! This gives the artist full reign to flow in creativity without the timeline of a wedding day. AND you get to meet other amazing wedding vendors in a more relaxed setting. I love styled shoots! So when I was asked by Maranda with Jubilee Events and Design if I was interested in joining, of course I was in! I love working with Maranda. She is excellent at what she does as a wedding planner and stylist. Her personality is fun and laid back with just enough urgency to keep everyone where they need to be.

I was even more excited about the theme! Megan Thompson with Southern Grace Photography got her inspiration from peaches and cornsilk blue accents. Place all of the joyful colors in the backdrop of a farm venue in Elberta, Alabama and it was a recipe for southern romance.

As I was choosing which florals to work with, I wanted to choose colors that made me think JOY. Working with fun colors is one of my favorite ways to style. Inspired by the spectrum of colors in a peach, I began my research. Open shimmer roses, with pops of yellow for whimsy and cornsilk blue exude such cheerfulness. I chose Coral Sunset Peonies to bring out the brighter pink tones of a peach. The mix of greenery included, salal leaves, eucalyptus, and fern. Salal is also called lemon leaf and I loved the bright green tones of these leaves. And what southern floral arrangement is complete without queen anne's lace?

Before I share the glorious photos, of course I have to shout out to a couple of vendors! Diane Holdsambeck with My Lady Dye Stationary based out of Fairhope, AL is truly incredible. Every time she bring her work to the table it is stunning. She hand writes invitations, hand scores and tears quality paper, hand paints watercolors and uses custom wax seals and ribbon in her work. And that's not even a drop in the bucket as to what she can do. Her attention to detail is remarkable.

Heather Pelham of Emerald Coast Custom cakes will always deliver a tasty and elegant treat. AND she can create anything. Based out of Gulf Breeze, FL, she bakes for all over the Gulf Coast. I can testify, with all of my prestigious dessert knowledge, that her cakes are a delight. The perfect ratio of sweetness and flavor in her icing along with a not too moist or too dry cake. Just right for your tastebuds and your event. At this shoot, she brought the cutest little apple pies. We may or may not have eaten all of them in the last hour of the shoot.

All of that being said, get yourself a nice, tall glass of sweet tea, kick up your feet on the front porch and enjoy these sweet southern wedding details.

Thanks for stopping by!
